With my last visit to Plaza Brasserie more than a year ago, I’d say they made improvements to their food and presentation.

Cold Seafood Station

Salmon Live StationFrom left to right – ‘Salmon Wellington,’ ‘Classic Baked Whole Salmon with Herb Spices,’ and ‘Grilled Salmon Fillet with Asia Sambal.’ The sambal seemed the most popular as it’s the fastest to be out, but my favourite was the ‘Salmon Wellington’ that’s wrapped in flaky puff pastry.

Sea-salt Crusted Salmon with Bread StuffingThe sea-salt one was interesting as well.

At one of the live stations, you can request for one whole fresh fish steamed on the spot for you.

Red Garoupa Steamed in Hong Kong StyleI kid you not. One whole fish, and unlimited orders (as much as your tummy can take). An alternative choice is the sea bass.

Curry Fish HeadAlso served hot and fresh in a whole clay pot, and unlimited orders.

Drunken Prawns

The Crustacean Corner offers live cooking of clams, mussels, prawns, and crabs with three different sauces, whichever that catches your fancy – ‘Spicy Coriander Sauce,’ ‘XO Sauce,’ and ‘Black Bean Sauce.’

Soft Shell Crab with Spicy Coriander Sauce

Bamboo Clams with Spicy Coriander SauceBeing a chilli lover, my number one choice had to be the Spicy Coriander.

White Clams with XO Sauce

Green Mussels with Black Bean Sauce

Soft CrêpeCrêpes prepared on the spot, both soft (flat down) or hard (upright). Again, it’s up to your preference ;)

With the amount of fresh seafood on the spread, it’s pretty worth the price paid. S$62++ for adults and S$37++ for children (12 and below).
