The Flying Squirrel 03/10/2013 Bar/Pub, Chinatown, Japanese, Raffles Place, Restaurant A small cosy Japanese dining restaurant and bar. Unfortunately on the day we went, there was a private event going on which spoilt the ambience of the whole place. Refreshing. Pounded seared tuna topped with sea urchin and flying fish roe – sounds delicious, but two small teaspoons for a hefty $18 couldn’t bring out the taste fully. Their ‘TFS Chirashi‘ bowl was the most worth it. Fresh raw salmon, tuna, yellowtail, scallop, sweet prawns, salmon roe, and one thick slice of eel. Made up of six different makis.
