Kombi-nation PlatterPlatter that’s yummy and value for money with almost all the side dishes in! I especially love their ‘Thai-style Spicy Vermicelli Salad’ and ‘Ngoh Hiang.’

Koon Kee Mee GorengSignature Mee Goreng labeled after their former restaurant name, Koon Kee. I’m guessing it’s the name of the boss too, hah.

However, the ‘Koon Kee Mee Goreng‘ didn’t live up to its stature. On contrary, I find their fried rice better tasting.

If you love old school and vintagey stuffs, Kombi Rocks Diner is a place for you. If you’re lucky, you get to see a few of their Kombis (Volkswagen Type 2) stationed outside the restaurant. I didn’t see any on that day though, so most probably they’re all rented out.

No chance to try the food. Were asked to wait for 30 minutes outside (with the horrible stench from a nearby drain/dustbin). Then was given a flat ‘sorry we cannot take you’ because there were phone reservations. Horrible service. WON’T be back!!!
