Oomphatico’s (Closed) 22/02/2010 European, Fusion, Hidden Gems, Orchard, Western 1 Comment It’s official. We’re in love with this charming European cafe. Their sophisticated interior got me really ecstatic and I was having a hard time choosing my seats, because all their chairs look so pretty and it makes me wanna plonk my ass down on every of them! Erm.. this sounds a lil’ eccentric but FYI, I’m a huge sucker for ambience. Here, we tried our very first slab of Wagyu. Oooomph….. this is truly heaven. Never ever did we came across beef that melts in your mouth, literally. It was amazing. A thick patty made up of vegetables with a spread of tomato fondue – a vegetarian dish so flavoursome that even Lionel the carnivore couldn’t resist it. Served with mango coulis and caramelised banana. A genius way to end our meal with this hot-cold-hard-soft awesome pawsome combination. Pardon repeated photos for the same dishes. It’s been a while since we’ve found such a gem which scores in all aspects.
